After shining in Tokyo, Can we Expect a Jayson Tatum MVP Run?

After a great 2020-2021 season for the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum has blossomed into a legitimate star in the league. The 23 year old averaged 26.4 points and 7.4 rebounds last season, and only looks like he's getting better. With the rest of the superstars that played for team USA in Tokyo for the olympics, Tatum was arguably the second best player behind Kevin Durant. Tatum scored 19 points in the gold medal game against France, helping team USA secure its 4th gold medal in a row. With all of this buzz around the young star, could he potentially make a run for the MVP? With Luka Doncic certainly being the favorite, it will be hard to outplay the Slovenian. However, I'm all for the TatuMVP train. If he averages 30+ a game and the Celtics overachieve under first year head coach Ime Udoka, he could definitely be a finalist by the end of the season.
