IT IS FUCKING COMING. A Kanye documentary is coming to Netflix after they acquired it for upwards of $30 million. Based on how long Kanye has been making music and has been in the industry (over 20 years), the fact that it took this long for the documentary to come out just comes to show how legendary this shit is going to be.
Love him or hate him, he is one of the most influential people on Earth. Yes, I just said it. It explains why he is the richest black man on Earth, owns a multi-billion shoe company, is in works with closing a billion dollar deal with Gap, has one of the most influential music of our lifetime, and the list goes on.
Back to the documentary, though, as I said, this shit will be fucking legendary. I'm calling it right now. Just to give some context, it'll be a multi-part project that'll feature exclusive footage of Ye during the span of 21 years, in which the footage was taken by Clarence Simmons and Choke Ozah, the same duo that co-directed the music video of "Through the Wire" and "Jesus Walks". Ye gave these two the blessing to have him documented and recorded for 21 years, since the late 90s.
Topics that will be touched on in the documentary: Ye's early rise in fame, his mother's death, his work in the fashion industry, and his 2020 presidential run. These are all pinnacle moments of Kanye's life that I am sure most of us would be very interested in watching.
